Supported Living

Your Lifestyle recognises the need for individuals to have choices in where they live, who they live with and who supports them.

We are committed to support individuals to move out of residential placements in to supported living.  We offer good quality accommodation to suit all needs; each individual would hold their own tenancy agreement.  We have individual flats in a cluster for those people that may need to live alone but still have access to peers and back ground staff support; we also provide house shares for individuals looking to live with others.  Each individual would have their own tenancy agreement on each and every occasion and support to manage their own finances.  We also support individuals leaving assessment and treatment centres and those being discharged from hospital under the mental health act (or DOL’s) to move into their own home with tailored support packages.

We understand that people should have the option to have their support and housing needs met by different providers.  Your Lifestyle supports individuals to find accommodation with private landlords or through local housing schemes, we help individuals achieve this by offering a corporate tenancy agreement to give the individual opportunity to demonstrate their ability to be an appropriate tenant, with a view to changing the tenancy into their individual name.

Your Lifestyle also recognises that housing needs are sometimes urgent and private landlord options can be limited, we have accommodation available for individuals to use as a base while they find a more permanent supported living arrangement.

Your Lifestyle offers supported environments with tailored support services based around individual need of the service user, these service offer crisis management, stabilization and move on, promoting independence.
